Field events in focus at the Pedros Cup |

The
Pedros Cup in Bydgoszcz on Wednesday is Poland's biggest indoor event of 2010
and this year it will bring together most of the country's medallists from last
year's World Championships in Berlin, including Shot Put star Tomasz Majewski,
Anna Rogowska and Monika Pyrek, the women's Pole Vault gold and silver
medallists, and men's High Jump bronze medallist Sylwester Bednarek.

Russia's Savinova already packed for World Indoor Championships |

Mariya
Savinova threw down the gauntlet to the rest of the world when she ran a
world-leading 800m time of 1:59.23 at the Russian Winter indoor meeting in
Moscow on Sunday and the Russian is now aiming to add a world indoor medal to
her 2009 European Athletics Indoor Championships title.
