Twenty two athletes will compete under the German flag in Toro next weekend, with Sabrina Mockenhaupt out of the competition due to army duties, German medal hopes will fall on second place finisher at the European Athletics permitted Cross of Roeselare, Susanne Hahn.

Germany's complete Junior teams are an encouraging sign that the sport is continuing to flourish at a grassroots level.
