The Latvian Athletics Association awarded Biruta Grantina with the European Athletics Women’s Leadership Award during the federation’s Calendar Conference on 12 November.
European Athletics recognised the 19 winners of its 2015 Women’s Leadership Awards during the Golden Tracks ceremony in Lausanne on 17 October.
In the early summer, European Athletics invited all artists to create a piece of art to be used as the main prize for the 2015 European Athletics Women’s Leadership Awards.
After two weeks of voting via our European Athletics Facebook page, the winning artwork to be presented as the main prize to the Women’s Leadership award winners at the European Athletics Golden Tracks ceremony in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 17 October has been chosen.
Our appointed European Athletics jury has selected a final shortlist of 4 stunning works of art from the numerous entries that were submitted from across Europe these past two months.
