Team Europe will be strong contenders for the overall title against Great Britain and the United States at the Simplyhealth Great Stirling XCountry on Saturday

Team Europe’s title defence at the Simplyhealth Great Stirling XCountry, a European Athletics Cross Country Permit Meeting, will be streamed live through the European Athletics homepage and online from 2:00pm CET on Saturday (12).

The livestream will cover both the senior men’s 8km and senior women’s 6km as well as the mixed 4x1500m relay which features European indoor 1500m and 3000m champion Laura Muir running for the hosts.

Team Europe features a cast of medallists from the recent SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Tilburg on 9 December including European U23 cross country champion Anna Emilie Moller from Denmark and silver and bronze medallists from the senior men’s race Isaac Kimeli from Belgium and Aras Kaya from Turkey.

Team Europe's mixed relay team features three of the four members of Spain’s gold medal-winning squad for Tilburg including Solange Pereira who anchored Spain to gold last month.

Team Europe will be looking for their third successive victory in this match after triumphing in Edinburgh in both 2017 and 2018.

The livestream will be geo-blocked in Great Britain, United States and Canada. For British viewers the event will be televised live on BBC One from 1:15pm local-time and viewers in the United States can watch through USATF TV.
