Thanks to the audience here in Berlin and to everybody who supported me. I am very, very happy. I achieved something historic. My fifth European title. It was not easy. When you are the leader, when you are the contender. There was a lot of stress, a lot of emotions. I was so tense. Mo Farah is a legend for me. Right now, I do not think about the 5K. Every race is different, it is never easy. Your legs hurt during the race. I never loosen, I never relax. There are many young runners who are chasing me. For 10 years I have been a winner in European athletics. I have been training every day, questioning myself, I did never drop, never abate. I want to leave traces. I want to make my family and my friends proud. And I want to enjoy it. The Olympics in Tokyo in 2020 are a goal of mine, but it is still a long way to go, two years. I feel very tired right now.
