European Athletics will host both the 2015 European Cup Combined Events First and Second Leagues in Inowroclaw, Poland.
The competitions will take place over two days on 4-5 July 2015.
Four athletes are allowed to compete per team in the decathlon and heptathlon, the scores of each athlete from the same country will be added together to create a total score, with the lowest men and women’s score being deducted from the total.
Medals will also be awarded in the individual competitions.
Last year, the Czech Republic triumphed in the First League led by Adam Helcelet who had the best score in the decathlon while his teammate Eliska Klucinova claimed heptathlon gold.
In the Second League, Romania won the team event but it was Belgian Niels Pittomvils who really caught the eye by winning the decathlon in emphatic fashion with a personal best of 8000 points, a total which would have also given him individual victory in the First League.
