Ethiopian invite for world cross women | 12.12.2006

The Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa will stage the 4th edition of its annual international women's 5k run on Sunday 1st April 2007.

The run which takes place in the centre of Addis Ababa last year attracted a field of 8,000 participants and is organized by Great Ethiopian Run which also stages the international 10k in Addis each year.  

This year organizers are hoping to attract athletes who will be participating in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa one week before the Addis 5k. European Athletes interested in applying for travel / hotel costs should contact Richard Nerurkar at greatrun@ethionet.et
