Candidates for 2019 European Athletics elections

With the closing date for nominations having closed, European Athletics can announce the following candidates for election to the positions of President, Vice President and Council Members.

The elections will take place during the forthcoming 26th European Athletics Congress, which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on 13 April.

Eligibility principals and voting procedures are detailed in the European Athletics Constitution (which is available here) but attention is drawn to the following  important constitutional change that has been implemented since the last elective congress in 2015: among the President and Vice Presidents collectively there shall be one person of each gender and the Council shall consist of at least three people of each gender.
