Mayer claimed two major titles this season and the Frenchman is aiming to add to his medal haul at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham where he will contest the heptathlon before his attention turns to the decathlon at the Berlin 2018 European Athletics Championships.
Mayer, who is currently training in Doha, Qatar ahead of the indoor season, will compete in a three-event triathlon competition at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 7 February and he will also contest pole vault competitions in Val du Reuil on 27 January and in Rouen on 10 February.

Mayer competed sparingly last season in between winning the European indoor heptathlon title in Belgrade and the IAAF World Championships but his coach Bertard Valcin has said he could contest a decathlon in the build-up to the European Championships where he will be looking to improve on his silver medal from 2014.
Pascal Martinot-Lagarde missed the majority of the outdoor season due to injury but the former European indoor champion has returned to training and is confirmed for the 60m hurdles at the Meeting de Paris Indoor while Olympic 200m bronze medallist Christophe Lemaitre is confirmed for the 60m flat.
