In a fruitful meeting, President Hansen discussed the development of future athletics facilities in the Latvian capital.
"I am very encouraged by the plans and ideas I have been presented by Riga, and by the Latvian Federation's proactive approach to developing the sport of athletics in the region," said President Hansen.

Hansen's visit to Riga coincides with the release of his latest annual "Delivering Change" report. The President committed to publishing this yearly update on his progress in office when he became President in April 2015.
