I am very happy - this is wonderful. The truth is I wanted this gold medal, the national record and to do my country proud.
I feel big pride to have won at this championships as it is my second medal at the European indoors after my silver medal in Belgrade.
At half way, I was just feeling I can´t more. I was really nervous.
I have received huge help from my family, friends and fans cheering from the tribunes. I was hearing their voices and that was pushing me forward.
The whole race was entertaining to me, I feel really powerful.

I´ve got so many emotions. It's another medal to add to my collection. It´s my fifth European podium. I could have jumped better to get a better position.
Now it's all about training, training, training. I want to beat Kevin MAYER (FRA, world decathlon champion), who is a great athlete.

It´s hard to describe. I knew I could do it but to come here and do what I did in the 1000m was great.
I needed a PB and I knew I could get it, so that was the main goal going into the last race -- just run as fast as I can, for as long as I could.
I just kept going with the group so I thought, ´OK, just keep riding it out.´
There were lots of ups and downs in the competition. It started well, took a dip with the shot put, came back up with the high jump. Then at the beginning of today I kind of went back down but I finished strongly.
I´ve been dreaming about the feeling of winning a medal for a while. It´s hard to describe the feeling.
