HARATYK M (POL)
- Gold 21.65 EL
I did not know how well prepared I was. I am really tired and it was really hot over in the circle. This tired me out each time before my throws. I knew what I had to do and I got myself prepared for this.
Through the rounds I felt my power going down and I did not know if the distance was 20 or 21. When I heard it was over 21 I did not know if it was enough. But I finished with gold, so I am proud and satisfied.
STORL D (GER)
- Silver 21.54 SB
I thought I had a good throw early on with good preparation. I think I wanted it too much that´s the reason I lost.
On whether he would ever wear a kilt:
I don´t think I ever need to wear a kilt no, no but I do love drinking Scottish whisky.
STANEK T (CZE)
- Bronze 21.25 SB
This medal means a lot and it's always a good feeling to win one.
I expected to be more powerful after the qualification round. It was my second competition indoors this year and it was difficult to find my technique.
But it's always good to have a medal. I hope to perform better in the summer. My biggest goal is to throw 22 metres and to go far in Qatar (at the IAAF World Championships).
