Team Europe prevailed in the inaugural and eagerly awaited instalment of the competition at the Dinamo National Olympic Stadium - 724.5 to 601.5 points.
After six individual victories on day two, Team Europe won eleven events on the second day - capped off by a thrilling win in the mixed medley relay with Amel Tuka taking his second victory of the evening.
Other winners across the two days of competition for Team Europe included Team Europe ambassador Ramil Guliyev from Türkiye in the 200m, Armand Duplantis from Sweden in the pole vault, reigning world, European and Olympic champion Sandra Perkovic from Croatia in the discus and reigning world champion Johannes Vetter from Germany in the javelin.
