European Athletics is pleased to announce the full composition of the Athletes’ Commission for the years 2014-2018.
As foreseen in the Athletes Commission Regulations, two members have been appointed by President Hansjörg Wirz, in addition to the six that were elected during the European Athletics Championships in Zurich.
The appointed members are Slovakia’s Dana Veldakova and Gunther Weidlinger of Austria.

If the consistency and integration between the previous and new athletes’ commission are not guaranteed with the results of the election, a member of the previous athletes’ commission may be appointed as a consultant by the European Athletics President, without any voting power.
