The organisers of the first European Running Business Conference have announced their roster of speakers for the two-day event – which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, on 27-28 October – and the line-up includes London Marathon CEO Nick Bitel, Tokyo Marathon race director Ted Hayano, Run Czech Organising Committee President Carlo Capalbo and GOLAZO CEO Bob Verbeeck.

European Athletics President Svein Arne Hansen and IAAF CEO Olivier Gers will open the conference.

Bitel, Hayano and Verbeek will be part of a one of the highlights of the Conference, a panel discussion on the second day: ‘Pick the Brains and Grab the Experience - Top Minds in the industry’.

Verbeeck will also talk on ‘Changes In The Industry’ on the first day while Capalbo provides a European perspective on the topic of ‘The World of Running – Where Are We Heading’.

Other senior figures in the running industry to pass on their expertise or comment on current trends include Mainova Frankfurt Marathon race director Jo Schinder, AIMS President Paco Borao, former CEO of Competitor Group Tracy Sundlun, Lagardère senior director Guy Horne and European Athletics Vice President Jean Gracia.
