European Athletics has awarded the 2015 European Athletics Team Championships 2nd League to the Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora.
The Second League will be held simultaneously with the European Athletics Team Championships Super League and First League on 20-21 June 2014. The Third League takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 21-22 June as part of the European Games.
Host nation Bulgara will face Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Hungary, Iceland, Serbia and Slovenia during the two-day event, where the top two finishing teams will earn a promotion to the following year's First League.
The European Athletics Team Championships has grown in popularity since it began in 2009, introducing a number of ground breaking initiatives including a revamp of traditional track and field regulations, and men and women competing as one team.
Team promotion and relegation through a European 'league table' system makes the weekend even more exciting.
