Lalova-Collio is one of the most successful and prolific European sprinters this century. She has represented Bulgaria at four successive Olympic Games, reaching the Olympic 100m and 200m finals on her debut in Athens 2004.
Fifteen years later Lalova-Collio reached the world 200m final in Doha and she is targeting her fifth successive Olympic appearance in Tokyo next summer.
On the European stage, Lalova-Collio won the European 100m title in Helsinki 2012 and was a double silver medallist four years later in Amsterdam. She also won the European indoor 200m title in 2005 and is the second fastest European sprinter in history over 100m with a lifetime best of 10.77.
