The European Athletics Team Championships begin in Lille Metropole, France in just over six weeks’ time (23-25 June) and the deadline is fast approaching for written press, photographers and broadcast non-rights holders wishing to cover the three day event.
The deadline for applicants wishing to book hotel accommodation is Monday 15 May but the deadline for applicants who do not require accommodation has been extended to Friday 2 June.

Broadcast non-rights holders are invited to apply for accreditation via the following link.
Broadcast rights holders (TV and radio) will receive a unique username and password which they can use to access the media accreditation system.

Media hotel
The official media hotel is the Kyriad Hotel (Parc des Moulins – 15 avenue de la Créativité - 59650 Villeneuve d’Ascq) which is conveniently situated 200 metres from the Lille’s Eurostar terminal.

There will also be transportation to and from the Lille-Lesquin Airport, the Brussels Zaventem Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle as well as transportation to and from the Stadium Nord Lille Metropole.
Room rates per person (bed & breakfast)
- Single occupancy: 95 EUR
- Double occupancy: 75 EUR
Room rates include all taxes.
When registering, if you submit an accommodation request, an email will follow to confirm the status of your request.
In case you do not request accommodation straight away, please log in again into the system to do so if necessary, with the credentials which will be sent in a separate e-mail. The deadline to submit your accommodation request is also Monday 15 May.
Cancellation Policy
For any cancellation made until 15 May 2017, no cancellation fee will be charged.
For any cancellation made as from 16 May 2017, 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged as a cancellation fee, unless the room is resold.
In case of no-show, the full stay will be charged.
Payment Policy
Shortly after your registration, you will receive an email with your accommodation invoice in order to proceed with payment by bank transfer.
You are kindly requested to proceed with payment no later than five (5) working days after receipt of this e-mail in order to guarantee your hotel booking.
