The 10 nominees for the men's European Athlete of the Year trophy have been announced across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as part of the social media vote.
The winner of the men's and women's Rising Star and European Athlete of the Year awards will be presented with their prestigious Golden Tracks trophies at the annual Golden Tracks award ceremony in Tallinn, Estonia on Saturday 26 October.
The social media vote accounts for 25 percent of the overall vote with the media vote, Member Federation vote and the European Athletics Expert Panel vote also accounting for 25 percent of the vote each.
Voting remains open on social media until 12.00 CET on Friday 18 October. The votes on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook will be combined in order to determine the outcome of the social media vote.
The three finalists in each category will be announced shortly after on social media.
