France's Renaud Lavillenie has signed up for the Meeting de Montreuil, a European Athletics Outdoor Classic Permit Meeting, on 19 June.
After an injury-plagued 2017 season, Lavillenie is back in excellent form ahead of the Berlin 2018 European Athletics Championships where he will be looking to win his fourth outdoor title.
Lavillenie defended his world indoor title in Birmingham this March when he cleared 5.90m to defeat world outdoor champion Sam Kendricks. Lavillenie holds the world outdoor lead with an early-season 5.95m clearance and he has carried that form into the summer months, recently winning in Chorzow with 5.91m.
Olympic 200m bronze medallist Christophe Lemaitre is also confirmed for Montreuil. Lemaitre will be looking to add to her tally of four gold medals and two silver and bronze medals at the European Championships in Berlin this summer.
