Final entries for the European Athletics Team Championships First League in Sandnes, Norway from 9-11 August have been published and can be viewed here.
The Norwegians will be strong contenders to win the overall title and secure promotion back into the Super League. Their team includes Karsten Warholm in the 400m and 4x400m relay while Jakob (1500m), Henrik (3000m) and Filip Ingebrigtsen (5000m) will be in action across the three days.
Their closest rivals are likely to be the Belarusian team whose roster includes European 100m hurdles champion Elvira Herman, reigning world U20 high jump champion Karyna Taranda, European indoor long jump silver medallist Nastassia Mironchyk-Ivanova and former European javelin champion Tatsiana Khaladovich.
Other notable entrants include world U20 champion Jonathan Sacoor who will contest the 400m and 4x400m relay for Belgium while Pedro Pablo Pichardo makes his debut in a Portuguese vest in the triple jump.
Sweden topped the standings two years ago at the European Athletics Team Championships First League in Vaasa, Finland ahead of Finland and Switzerland.
